ABOUT.
Sonibaux is a series of newly designed instruments that I have created, built, and performed with in my sonic art practice, particularly within live performance contexts. Rather than referring to a single controller or instrument, the project is an open system composed of combinations of boxes and sensors of various sizes and shapes, designed to accommodate diverse performance and creative scenarios. The series is highly extensible, supporting the ongoing evolution of experimental sound practices—new sensors can be integrated to enrich performance possibilities and enable future technological or interactive integrations. Drawing on the logic of electronic music live sets and the flexibility of modular synthesizers, Sonibaux allows different units to be freely combined. More than a traditional instrument system, it serves as a mediating platform for sonic art creation, providing diverse interfaces between the body and sound.

ZAO magazine/ Festival – Open Call
Theme: The Act of Making Sound
ZAO magazine invites submissions for our upcoming issue and live performance festival.
We welcome works that explore the act of making sound through hands-on experimentation —
whether through boxes, sensors, circuits, installations, or entirely new forms of digital craft.
We’re looking for projects, essays, and experiments that investigate the relationship between object, sound, and maker.
Selected works will be featured in ZAO magazine and may be invited to participate in our ZAO Live Performance Festival, where making becomes performance and performance becomes research.
There are no limits — only the rhythm of creation.
